As for finding a sense of direction as you learn to navigate this second year without the physical presence of your beloved Stephen, I hope you will continue just trusting the process. I guess because our journey is so close in time, the platforms of emotion on which we stand are so similar. I like you, am moving forward with God's help with this shattered heart of mine. Trying to live life despite the omnipresent grief that's firmly planted in my heart and despite anyones else's expectations, will reside there for many tomorrows or as long as it needs to. I give thanks for my family and friends who continue to be ties that bind. Enjoyed the read, thank-you!m. lythgoehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16712493860731296811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6386796068454379814.post-21851087083086671942010-11-10T08:59:41.001-08:002010-11-10T08:59:41.001-08:00Thanks Kelly! It's been very cathartic. My daughter was killed in July 2009 and reading your blog was very soothing - soothing to know that there's nothing wrong with meeting the world with a broken heart and a positive attitude. But nonetheless beneath it all we still miss them unbelievably so. Maybe it's not so much being broken as broken open like you said and if we are to maintain the high standards for living the best life we can despite our loss we need to stay open, plugged into the divine, be able to hold the happiness and the sadness and still stay in the positive flow. Thanks for being an inspiration!
